| it is important that we upgrade to the newest platform, VFP 9.0. While much of this occurs behind the scenes in your Lone Wolf program, these upgrades will enhance our ability to interface with internet applications, greatly enhance our e-mail capabilities (see below) and give the program a fresh look very similar to Windows XP. | |

| In Lone Wolf version 06.03.02, the ability to e-mail reports directly from Lone Wolf (without using MS Outlook) was implemented. To enable this feature you must first specify your Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). To determine your Outgoing mail server (SMTP), navigate to the mail client you are currently using (i.e., Outlook, Netscape Messenger, etc.), then follow the instructions listed in the HELP menu under the E-mail Options section (E.1.1. Interface. |  |
| E-mail Options). If you require further assistance determining your Outgoing Mail server, please contact your network administrator. Once you have the required information you must enter it into the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP)" field on the "Interface" tab of the Company Profile (E.1.1). After this initial setup has been completed, you will have the ability to print any report to the screen then click on the e-mail icon, type in the destination address and the report you selected will be sent as an e-mail attachment. This will allow you to e-mail agents their showings, production reports, or any other report that you can direct to print to the screen. In addition, you can also send e-mail messages from within the program in the Send E-mails option (T.M.1). |

Training Mode Want to test something without affecting your live data? You can copy your live data into "Training Mode". In E.1.1 under the MISC.2 tab select YES to ALLOW TRAINING MODE. Then exit the program. When logging back into the software, instead of clicking OK after entering your ID and password - click TRAINING. You will be prompted to make a copy of the existing data. (Everybody else must exit the system momentarily to make this copy.) Logging into TRAINING mode will allow you to explore and test freely without affecting the real data. This tool is fantastic for cross training new staff or simply testing a posting. Go ahead... Play Safe! Additional Training Have you recently hired a new administrator?
