The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) is an independent agency responsible for the collection, analysis, assessment and disclosure of information in order to assist in the detection, prevention and deterrence of money laundering and financing of terrorist activities in Canada and abroad.

Control Dates
Control Dates are used to ensure that accounting posting entries are kept within a pre-determined date range. If your starting control date is more than one year in the past, upon logging into the program, you will see a Control Date Warning. This is prompting you to update your Control Start Date so that postings aren't inadvertently made in a closed period. (Read More)
