New Feature: Agent Budgets are a great new tool for developing and rewarding your agents. It shows the agent that you are working with them to track their progress and has become a popular and valuable tool for all offices that wish to coach their agents towards better production.
In option 8.B.1, you can set a budget by either rolling over actual numbers from a previous period or creating your own agent plan. To create a new budget go into option 8.B.1 and establish the parameters (i.e., average sells price, average commission %). Once that is set, click on the budget tab at the top and click on the allocate button. Type in the amounts you want to allocate for that particular agent. The agents budget is now set!
You can print the agent budget in option 8.B.2, or run a Budget to Actual comparison for that agent in 8.B.3. Refer to your HELP menu, or contact your Lone Wolf representative for more information. |

Canadian Payroll Updates :
The Canada Revenue Agency has announced that on July 1, 2006 the federal basic personal amount will be revised to $8,639. There are no changes to the provincial tax credit amounts. Please update your Lone Wolf program before you do your first payroll in July.
When you do your first payroll in Lone Wolf after July 1st, you will be prompted in 9.1 to update your employees tax credit amounts. If the employee has the current basic tax credit amounts entered in their profile, the system will prompt you to automatically update. If they have a different amount, you will have to manually override the TD1 Tax Credit and Provincial Tax Credit fields on the Payroll screen of I.1.1. The amounts can be derived by your employee completing a new TD1 form available from Canada Revenue Agency.
New RECO Guidelines - Reminder:
Please be reminded of the new advertising rulings from RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario) effective as of March 31, 2006. Please review the document "Advertising Guidelines" for the updated rulings, carefully noting the following important changes:
Requirement of the disclaimer 'Independently Owned and Operated' indicated by * beside both the company name and disclaimer. All future stationary and advertising should contain this disclaimer, carefully noting the change from 'Each office is Independently Owned and Operated', which has formally been changed in order to comply with the new guidelines.
The required use of the word 'brokerage' after the company name (formerly 'member broker') .
Different terms for salesperson, owner, broker .

Canadian GST Reduction Effective July 1, 2006:
Lone Wolf version 06.05.01 incorporated the 1% GST reduction. Please ensure you have updated your program. Your pending deals with a closing date on or after 07/01/06 will be calculated at the reduced GST rate.
